Courses & fees
One price covers instruction, both exams, and the course textbook. A deposit reserves your seat.
CFSC
The Canadian Firearms Safety Course. Covers safe handling, operation, and the law for non-restricted firearms — the requirement for your PAL.
CFSC + CRFSC
Both courses together for full non-restricted and restricted licensing. Complete the pair within 30 days and save over $45 versus booking separately.
CRFSC
The Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course. The added requirement for restricted firearms and your RPAL. Best taken with or after the CFSC.
All prices include HST, examination fees, and the course textbook. Take the CRFSC within 30 days of your CFSC and it drops to $192.10. Active CAF members and veterans get $40 off the CRFSC when booking both courses together — $410.40 for the pair.
A full day, done right
Each course runs a full day in our Markham classroom. You’ll learn the material, handle firearms safely under supervision, and complete both the written and practical exams the same day.

Note: SAMS Training does not have a live-fire shooting range on site. All practical training is conducted safely in the classroom.

Complete your exams and receive your course report.

Submit your PAL/RPAL application to the RCMP with your report.

Your licence arrives in the mail. We’re here for questions throughout.

After your licence
The CFSC and CRFSC get you licensed. They don’t teach you to shoot well. Sam is putting together live-fire range training — one-to-one coaching and private groups, built on 23 years in the Canadian Armed Forces.
